Delete your account

Request deletion of your VDO Editor account and associated data.

You can request deletion of your VDO Editor account at any time. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

How to request deletion

Email us at support@vdo-app.com with the subject line "Account deletion request", sent from the email address associated with your VDO Editor account (or, if you signed in with Google or Apple, tell us which provider and email you used). We will verify the request and delete your account within 30 days, then confirm by email.

What gets deleted

• Your account record (email address and display name) in our authentication system.
• The link between your account and your subscription entitlement.

What is not affected

• Your projects and media — these are stored only on your device and are never held by us. Delete the app or its data on your device to remove them.
• Your subscription billing — subscriptions are managed by Apple or Google. Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription; cancel it in your App Store or Google Play settings.
• Anonymized analytics and crash data — this data contains no user identifiers and cannot be traced back to you, so it cannot be selectively deleted; it expires under standard Firebase retention periods.
